Winter is Over. And it's About Time.

02 May 2015

You have been waiting for this. All winter long, you hunkered down in an office and at home or outside under what feels like 1,000 layers of clothing that, no matter how heavy, never QUITE did the trick. Your bones ached from the chill. Well, the wait for warm weather has withered. You live in DC, and the winter weather is GONE. It's time get the creak out of your frosted, aching bones and limbs. All of that cold is off to places like Antarctica where it belongs. It's time for you to leave the house and the office. It's time to take a deep breath of fresh air. Get in the car or on a bus or a bike and wind down that road or trail until your feet hit the gravel of our yard, then the wood planks of the dock. As the sun rises and sets over the Potomac, you're floating, paddling blissfully away from the daily chaos that is city-living. For an hour, or a day, you have created a small oasis for yourself, for your family and your friends. You are hitting the reset button, and it all starts here at Boating In DC.
